Ever since the invention of the internet there have been cases of sexual predetors lurking online preying on unexpecting children. Today with websites like myspace.com making it extremely easy for anyone to put information about themselves on the net, its just getting a little out of hand.
And to answer your question about protecting your loved ones, the answer it spread knowledge of the risk and dangers of the interenet to your loved ones. Make them aware of some of the concequences of putting your personal information online.
